How To Care For Your New Piercing
Check your piercing regularly in the mirror, making sure the jewellery looks secure.
At the beginning we suggest cleaning the piercing twice a day (once in the morning, and once in the evening).
Gently irrigate the piercing with a mild sterile saline solution (0.9% with no additives), then use a piece of sterile, non-woven gauze to gently wipe the build up, then pat dry with another dry piece of gauze.
Be mindful not to be too abrasive as this can irritate your piercing.
Continue this method until fully healed.
Key Points to Know
PLEASE DO NOT
Regularly play or touch your piercing with unwashed hands.
Submerge your piercing under water while healing (excluding under the shower).
Remove or change the jewellery while it is healing.
Use homemade salt water, creams, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, tea tree oil, Betadine. These may be harmful to your piercing.
Sleep on your piercing, as this can aggravate and prevent it from healing correctly.
